Well, that's what I get for waiting until the last day ... by the time I had a chance to put together a submission or two for JavaOne 2010, the site was down (from about 10pm on). Kind of frustrating, I was looking forward to talking about Tapestry and Clojure (my main speaking staples) in front of another big crowd.

The call for papers has been extended for 48h
I'm happy about it ... I had already submitted for two sessions after the first deadline, and was going to look for some way to get them considered. This makes it easier!
